Comfort Suites Lombard - Addison

Update review About six months ago, my husband and I stayed at this hotel twice in one month and had such great experiences both times that I gave it a 5-star review. The staff was welcoming, the atmosphere felt warm and comfortable, and it truly felt like a home away from home. We recently returned on August 3rd and checked out on the 4th while we were in the area house hunting. Since we didn’t want to drive back to the north side of Chicago, we decided to stay here again based on our past positive experiences. Unfortunately, this visit didn’t feel the same. The overall atmosphere was different, and we didn’t feel as welcome as we did before. It wasn’t a terrible experience by any means, but it lacked the hospitality that made our previous stays so memorable. That said, the room itself was clean and well-kept, and the bed and pillows were just as comfortable as we remembered. One change that surprised us was the addition of a deposit fee—we didn’t have to pay one during our earlier visits, so that felt a bit odd. Overall, while the room quality remains solid, the shift in the level of service has left us reconsidering future stays. It’s disappointing because we once thought very highly of this hotel, but this recent experience just didn’t live up to the previous ones. For that reason, we may choose to take our business elsewhere next time.

Nice place, very nice and great (very nice and polite) staff & service. Your room will be decently good and big if you book a suite. One problem is that there’s only one elevator that takes way too long to come, so taking the stairs is sometimes/usually a better alternative. Cleanliness is alright, but I don’t know if they change the sheets, or maybe they just aren’t washed good enough. But anyways they have small stains. Cleanliness in hallways is good, pool looked nice (but no hot tub). Breakfast was alright, well-stocked. But again the staff were extremely nice and accommodating. Overall okay, would definitely recommend over the other hotels in this place (Fairfield, Ramada)

I stayed here for two nights during a short business visit. The reception handled my check-in smoothly and explained the basic amenities clearly. The room was tidy and prepared properly before my arrival. Housekeeping responded quickly when I asked for an extra towel.

Counter help was great with directions. Clean rooms, beds were medium to stiff. The gal doing breakfast was continously checking everything (more that other places I've stayed). Not a big deal for myself, the elevator was out of service.

I honestly don’t know why this is considered a 2-star hotel. Our stay at Comfort Suites in Lombard has been wonderful from start to finish (and we’re only halfway through, but I already know how I’ll feel by the end ). We were greeted by the kindest young lady when we checked in, which set the tone for a great stay. We reserved two nights with points and I have virtually no complaints. The only thing my husband noted was that the shower water pressure is on the lighter side. It still gets the job done, though. The room itself was huge, the bed was big and very comfortable, and the “mini” fridge was much larger than the typical ones we’ve seen. The only issue was our microwave not working properly since the plate didn’t spin, but we didn’t bother asking for a replacement because it wasn’t a big deal. The hotel is clean inside and out, and both the blankets and bed were cozy. The heated pool was a little chilly at first but easy to get used to—and we really enjoyed it. The absolute highlight, though, has to be the breakfast. I’ve never stayed at a “2-star hotel” and actually looked forward to the complimentary breakfast. There was fresh hot bacon, cheesy omelets, hash browns, eggs, yogurt, a variety of breads and pastries, and of course the classic homemade waffles. One of the staff members running breakfast was so kind and kept everything fully stocked, hot, and fresh—even at 8:30 a.m. with breakfast ending at 9. She really went above and beyond. We had just finished a long stay at another hotel while our car was being worked on, and I wish we had chosen Comfort Suites instead. Thank you so much, Comfort Suites Lombard, for such a great experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will absolutely be back!

Our stay was great. The rooms were clean. It's not five star but it's definitely somewhere safe. You can lay your head, you and your children or a girlfriend boyfriend whoever you are with. It was a safe remote area. There's a Walmart in the area which is always great. We love Walmarts couple of restaurants, gas stations in the area. It was decent. Staffing was great. Mr. Frank was awesome and I appreciate him considering. I had a grandson there with me and he has autism and he gets a little agitated and doesn't know how to express himself. Mr. Frank was Johnny on the spot and I do not know how to forever thank him. He doesn't know with those small things mean those gestures that we need to show more often in life and so he allowed my grandson to swim for 30 minutes. It was after the time and please don't fault him for that. Children with special needs are special and they can't express themselves. He's not very furable but we do our best in life and just me walking up to that desk asking with respect and courtesy and letting him know my situation. He was so kind to let us use the facility. So again thank you Mr. Frank. You mean so much. You don't even know because he was going to have a conniption fit all night and that's something apparent. Doesn't want you want to sleep at ease and with him not having those small things. A pool which he loves water. He was going to flip out all evening long so again the facility is clean. Everybody was pleasant that I did come across. Keepers were smiling in the morning. I am a housekeeper lead here in Cincinnati Ohio so I know what that also means. So thank you so much for that smile that morning I was in room 317 again thanks. You guys owe us nothing. We had a good time!

The staff was very helpful and friendly... Amazing breakfast Esmeralda in the dining room was wonderful and so helpful she made the morning so much better. I felt safe and comfortable. Will definitely be staying there again.
